The Tester performs under Test Engineer/ Program Engineering supervision. S/he performs CHIP, sub-assembly, final assembly, and validation units' testing. The Tester needs to be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Key Qualifications


  • Generates Test data package
  • Makes up own test set-ups and adjustments.
  • Disassembles, modifies, and test units as required.
  • Uses variable test devices of an electro-mechanical or optical nature which may require interpretation or analysis.
  • May assist with training of lower level testers
  • Interface with Project Engineers and Process Engineers to get devices fabricated and tested in a timely fashion and efficiently
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or higher degree preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Familiar with MIL-STD testing of electro-optical semiconductor devices and assemblies
