Will be responsible to develop, document, implement and maintain SMT processes for improved yield and efficiency. Responsible for the introduction of new technologies, processes and equipment. Will monitor and improve day-to-day activities on SMT Lines, work with technicians to resolve process-related issues, interface with engineers, troubleshoot and repair SMT, pick and place and reflow equipment. Will interpret customer requirements and train operators
Must have 5+ years of hands-on SMT process experience; solder paste print, pick and place, reflow with working knowledge of IPC Documentation including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001. Processing knowledge of BGA, MicroBGA, and CSP components. Experience with DOE, DFM, NPI, Statistical Techniques, SPC and Continuous Improvement is preferred. Engineering or technical degree or equivalent work experience required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
