Description

  • Assists in property pick-up/delivery, shipping & receiving and minor facilities maintenance
  • Maintains automated and manual data records associated with inventory control, designated purchasing activities, and shipping & receiving
  • Assists in the preparation of management analysis reports as required
  • Conducts interdepartmental, field site coordination, both written and oral
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Export Compliance procedures (ECP)
  • Insures compliance to all applicable U.S. Export laws
  • Generates accurate and complete shipment invoicing to meet proposed business activities
  • Tracks, documents and notifies vested parties in time critical and contract shipments
  • Prints reports, logs and graphs as required to support activities
  • Receives, warehouses, and issues, software, supplies, parts and equipment
  • Coordinates applicable receipt processing with Purchasing and Accounts Payable
  • Receives and processes Purchase Requests (PR’s) for maintenance stocks and office supplies
  • Prepares Purchase Orders (PO’s) and coordinates delivery schedules
  • Interfaces with suppliers as necessary to ensure that deliverables will arrive on schedule
  • Serves as Supply Chain liaison for Commercial Biometric Products and assists in preparation of logistics management analysis reports as required
  • Uses a variety of analytical methods and tools to monitor and analyze order tracking, product classifications and export, supply chain management, inventory control, stock replenishment, cycle inventories, and logistics support processes
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must have an A.A. Degree with courses in business and accounting or equivalent trade school (may be replaced with equivalent levels of experience)
  • Must have between one and three years of purchasing and logistics management
  • Must have a baseline working knowledge of automated material management systems
  • Must be able to work on a variety of supply chain problems of small complexity
  • Must possess the ability to operate independently within established department/company practices and execute appropriate actions
  • Must be familiar with licensing and SW Loading
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Must have solid and appropriate communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with people
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must have State Driver’s License with good driving record required
