Our growing team is seeking a highly organized and proactive candidate to fill the role of Sheet Metal Fabricator. Our widely published company is headquartered in a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility in LA, where we specialize in manufacturing architectural systems. Our talented team consists of designers, engineers, architects and software developers with a vast and exciting knowledge base. Must be available Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.




Basic Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of sheet metal and/or fabrication experience.
  • Ability to understand drawings and specifications
  • Ability operate fabrication equipment, Drill presses, Shears, riveters etc.
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Experience around press brakes, laser cutters cnc punches etc.
  • Ability to work within a team structure, create quality custom components on schedule.
  • Ability to follow directions and operate as a team player must be detail oriented.

  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication such as: metal furniture, metal shelving, metal cabinets, or electronics boxes such as test cabinets, test equipment boxes or.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as squares, scales, rulers and tapes accurately
  • Be able to lift or move sheets of metal, and push heavy carts
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.


Job Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of sheet-metal installation and fabrication processes (measuring, cutting, bending, forming, and drilling riveting.
  • Work under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.
  • Safely perform sheet-metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts. Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance.
  • Use blueprints to cut and form metal parts, following standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants and solvents.
  • Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information.
  • Safely operate shop equipment such as: brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools associated with sheet-metal functions.
  • Use the proper hardware for various sheet metal applications.
