Under the direction of the Service Director and Service Technical Supervisor, this position is responsible to test, troubleshoot and repair digital and analog electronics down to component level in a fast paced environment. In this role you will provide support and feedback, as needed to R&D and Engineering, use skills and knowledge from detailed analysis and hands on experience to assist team members and other departments. This position will be responsible to keep up-to-date with new product releases and new technologies. This position will work with electronic test equipment including real-time oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters, power supplies, Audio Precision and in house built test fixtures. Candidates will be referred to a temporary agency.
  • Must have 1-5 years experience as a qualified electronics bench technician.
  • Must be able to read schematics and perform troubleshooting to component level.
  • Must have ability to recognize, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports.
  • Must be able to repair and calibrate.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Must be familiar with PC Microsoft Office, MS DOS, database applications, and possess excellent computer and computer networking skills.
  • Audio background, a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience with Audio Precision equipment is strongly desired but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly.

Must pass a general and criminal background check.
