The Pricing and Inventory Manager will ensure inventory and gross profit goals are met.

The IDEAL candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience focused on inventory and pricing
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Superior communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel
  • Experience with Epicor Eclipse operating system preferred

 

Job Results and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  2. Maintain inventory levels to maximize ROI
  3. Manage cycle counting processes
  4. Conduct analyses to forecast potential inventory issues.
  5. Supervise purchasing agent and inventory control specialist
  6. Develop and implement pricing strategies to meet gross profit goals.
  7. Manage factory rebate and claim back programs
  8. Recommend pricing levels through industry analysis
  9. Manage obsolete and non moving product.
  10. Manage new product onboarding.
  11. Assist sales with special inventory needs and job pricing
  12. Develop and maintain key vendor relationships
  13. Present a professional image at all times to customers, vendors and peers.
  14. Follow company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HVAC technical or distribution experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Superior communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel

  • Skill in using point-of-sale computer systems to locate information and process transactions.
  • Skill in using web-based tools to research product and information.
  • Ability to work productively in teams with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures.
