KKCS is seeking ICC-certified inspectors with extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing inspection for full-time MEP Inspector opportunities in Los Angeles, CA. The MEP Inspector provides inspection and materials testing services for airside, landside, terminals and utility infrastructure projects.


Required Experience:

Qualified applicants must be able to satisfy one of the following criteria:

  • Electrical/IT Inspector
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing electrical/IT inspections
    • Possess a current ICC certification as a Commercial Electrical Inspector
    • Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials and techniques of the electrical/IT trade
    • Ability to diagnose violations and hazards in new and existing electrical/IT installations and take a proactive approach during construction
    • General understanding of low-voltage systems including fire/life safety and information technology
    • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, electrical codes, applicable standards for tasks on the Airfield
    • Experience with airfield lighting is required.


  • Mechanical Inspector
    • At least three (3) years' experience performing mechanical inspections
    • Possess a current ICC certification as a Commercial Mechanical Inspector
    • Possess a thorough knowledge of the materials and methods used in the installation of plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration installations
    • Ability to diagnose hazards of unsanitary conditions caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship


  • Plumbing Inspector
    • Shall have at least three (3) years' experience performing plumbing inspections
    • Possess a current ICC certification as a Commercial Plumbing Inspector
    • Possess a thorough knowledge of the materials and methods used in the installation of plumbing installations
    • General understanding of plumbing systems including domestic water and sewage systems
    • Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler pipe installations
