Goss Engineering, Inc. (GEI), founded in 1994, provides MEP consulting services for public and private works, colleges and universities, and corporate campuses. GEI’s area of expertise includes the planning, study, design, and commissioning of district energy systems, thermal energy storage systems, cogeneration systems, central plants, distribution systems (chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, natural gas), facility and utility infrastructure, and pumping systems.

GEI is currently looking to fill a growth position for an experienced licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Corona, CA office.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be required to take a project from conceptual design through construction administration. The candidate would ideally be a team player with a positive attitude, a self-starter capable of working independently, and possess strong communication skills.

Job Requirements

  • Must have in-depth HVAC industry knowledge, including ASHRAE and SMACNA as it is required for this position
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed professional mechanical engineer (PE)
  • Possess 5 years of experience preparing bid documents, including preparing drawings and editing specifications
  • Working knowledge of California codes, including CMC, CBC, and Title 24
  • Experience collaborating with and/or managing a design team is preferred
