SUMMARY
Manage parts purchase and returns, inventory control, distribution and turnover for all Quinn dealership stores (including QRS) by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manages company inventory to meet or exceed the company’s goal for Caterpillar Emergency Service Charges, Inventory turns and Territorial Service Percentage.
• Performs month end reconciliation of the perpetual and general ledger inventory balances.
• Manage worn core inventory and report monthly results to management.
• Establishes Quinn Exchange pricing following company guidelines for inventory turns and follows FIFO guidelines when determining price.
• Conducts Back Order analysis to determine needs and make necessary changes.
• Actively participates in Six Sigma projects as required.
• Manages company inventory to meet or exceed the company’s goal for Caterpillar Emergency Service Charges, Inventory turns and Territorial Service Percentage.
• Coordinates and directs quarterly, semi annual and annual parts return activity to vendors.
• Coordinates and directs cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Aligns, partners, and collaborates with assigned HR representative to proactively manage staffing, workforce development, employee communication, employee relations and support / develop business unit objectives.
• Provides monthly inventory reporting package to Accounting
• Communicate understanding and support of Quinn’s organizational goals. Interact effectively with individuals and groups throughout the company. Develop and maintain working relationships with department heads in order to improve the overall company performance.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and five to eight years related experience and/or training; or Certification Production and Inventory Management (CPIM ); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point.
