Requirements and Competencies High School Diploma or GED 1 year industrial electrical experience required Programming experience preferred Intermediate level Allen Bradley PLC5 programming and troubleshooting preferred Basic level Servo Drive troubleshooting experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot and rewire devices, switches, motor starters and drives Must be able to work varying shifts (days, afternoons, and midnights) Electrical troubleshooting experience in packaging and/or high-speed/continuous process environment Calibration of industrial instrumentation experience preferred (temp, level, pressure controls) Primary Responsibilities Troubleshoot PLC-controlled high-speed production equipment Maintain variable speed drives and production equipment Industrial process controls and instrumentation Maintain the power distribution of operations and maintenance equipment Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment Use of precision measurement tools Reading blueprints and equipment manuals Troubleshooting and correcting electrical problems in a fast-paced environment Work in a team or as an autonomous group performing work orders and providing electrical support Other development and training opportunities are also included
