MAINTENANCE MACHINIST OR MECHANIC *SALARY: UP TO $40/HOUR *LOCATION: Hayward, CA area *FULL-TIME WITH BENEFITS JOB DESCRIPTION • High school graduate or equivalent • Trade school, apprenticeship or license (e.g., journeyman) is a plus • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food, Cosmetic, Beverage, or relevant work experience is preferred • Maintain proper documentation for inspections, cleanings, log books, inventory lists, Out of Service, PMs, Corrective Work Orders, etc. • Inspect and clean tooling which includes, but is not limited to tablet presses parts (punches and dies, etc.) • Inspect, repair or replace encapsulation change parts (dosators, pistons, beaks, etc.), imprinter parts (embossing and rubber rollers, chain links, etc.), screens (Vibroscreens, Comils, Fitzmills, etc.), blades and impellers (MG, Comil, Fitzmill, etc.) • Set up and operate milling machine, lathe, drill press, grinders, vertical and horizontal boring, shapers, slotters, key seaters, planer and other metalworking tools to design, fabricate and/or repair parts • Initiate purchase order for various parts, material, tooling and tools • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements • Repair or replace defective parts following proper change control requirements • Lubricates and cleans parts • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, as needed including facilitates work (i.e., patch and paint) If interested and a fit, please forward a copy of your resume in Word or PDF format.
