Machine Operator all shifts

The success of our many production operations hinges on our ability to safely produce quality products, on-time, every time, for our large and diverse customer base. A key component of this mission is our Machine Operation department. The talented group of people we have throughout our production facilities are responsible for ensuring the plant’s sophisticated machinery and are running properly.

Main Position Responsibilities:

  • Makes necessary adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Inspect parts for defects and trim excess plastic from parts.
  • .  Assemble various components onto molded parts. 
  • Stack good parts on pallet. 
  • Start/stop machines as needed. 
  • Alert supervisor of any problems with machine or part quality. 
  • Ensure correct components are in work area. 
  • Keep work area clean and neat. 
  • Complete accurate count at end of shift (good parts, scrap parts, machine downtime). 
  • Read and understand product part numbers. 

Key Attributes / Behaviors

  • Must have a basic understanding of machine operation
  • Must have an understanding of basic addition and subtraction using a calculator.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs
  • Ability to stand for 6 hour intervals
  • Must have a strong attendance record with previous employers
  • Experience in a production / manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a safe manner
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Willingness to work overtime, off-shifts
  • Prior experience with blow or injection molding desirable but not essential
