We are currently seeking experienced Industrial & Marine Services Technicians to join our growing team! 

Position Overview:

Safe and successful execution of fieldwork supporting all NRC business lines including industrial cleaning, remediation, waste packaging/disposal, site demolition, emergency spill response (marine/land) and site cleanup projects.  Ideal candidates will have exposure to site sensitive strategy exercises and unannounced drill procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand initial project scope and what constitutes "change order"
  • Correct completion of all job-specific paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver’s Logs and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms.
  • Respond to oil /petroleum spill on water, shoreline and uneven terrain under varying weather conditions.
  • Load / unload drums, cylinders, equipment from and into vans, flatbeds, trailers
  • Perform confined space work inside tanks of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.
  • Assist in retrieval or cleanup of biomedical waste
  • Follow directions; read/speak and understand English; read and understand common danger placards / labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.
  • Understand and comply with company and client safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills)
  • 1-4 years hands-on experience in industrial services and emergency/spill response on both water and land with working knowledge of ER principals, procedures and safe work practices.
  • Working knowledge of local waterways and navigation a plus
  • Experience operating small boats/skiffs a plus
  • Current 40 hour Hazmat Certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with clean record.  CDL A or B with Haz & Tanker endorsements a ++
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work extended hours including evenings and weekends supporting NRC's 365/24/7 operations as needed, working in often undesirable conditions, in inclement weather while be exposed to dust, fumes, dirt, heat, cold, noise, vibrations.


Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
