Evolution Mechanical is seeking the highest qualified Commercial Refrigeration Service Specialist who desire to be part of a rapidly growing team that provides industry leading service to the highest caliber customers in the restaurant and food service industries. These specialists must expertly service and repair commercial refrigeration, ice machine, heating/cooling and ventilation systems. As a Commercial HVAC/ R Service Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and retrofit/replacement of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment with a primary focus on the restaurant and food service industry. A Refrigeration Technician with our organization is responsible for:

  • Providing prompt and courteous service to customer requests
  • Complying with Company Policies, Processes and Procedures
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on all commercial refrigeration & HVAC equipment to include but not limited to:
    • Walk in coolers/freezers
    • Remote and self-contained refrigeration equipment
    • Ice machines
    • Rooftop package and split system air conditioners
    • Ventilation equipment (evaporative coolers, MAU, exhaust)
    • Making adjustments and changes to all refrigeration & HVAC equipment, performing general repairs and maintenance of building components. Analyzes requirements of system(s), diagnoses trouble or defect(s), determines corrective action and repairs the system(s).

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • At Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC/R service and installation experience
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • EPA certification required by time of hire
  • Additional industry certifications and continuing education is highly desired
  • Pass Pre-Employment Screening
  • Ability to Lift Up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
