Primary Function:  

We are looking for Heavy Equipment Operators (Marine construction experience preferred)

 

Basic Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Must be able to efficiently and safely operate Excavator, Loader, Backhoe, Forklift and/or other heavy equipment.
  • Experience with grading and grade checking
  • Follow direction of the Superintendent and Foreman with regards to daily production schedule and activities.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years’ experience(preferred).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Walk/Stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor elements.
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or overtime when needed.
  • Must have valid DL.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Ability to gain federal base access (includes background check)
  • Construction experience preferred
