SUMMARY

Quinn is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as General Manager of our Agricultural Equipment Division throughout Central and Southern California. Lead our team of Ag Sales Representatives with responsibility to: (1) maximize company equipment sales revenue, profitability, and market share throughout our entire service territory, (2) optimize company sales coverage through territory/market analysis and sales force development, and (3) serve as the leader/mentor to this team of high customer exposure employees.

In addition, lead our team of Ag support employees with responsibility to deliver agricultural sales, marketing, and product support operational excellence across the company. Create strategic sales, marketing, and product support direction for the Company’s Ag product lines and drive long-term development for the company. Support the company Region Teams in their effort to achieve financial, market share, safety, and other performance targets.

Establish and maintain high-level relationships with influential customers and interact with key manufacturer representatives (AGCO and other Ag products). Drive continuous company process improvement and long-term growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Serve as the company leader of our Agricultural equipment operations.
• Support and optimize agricultural sales and marketing, and product support operations across the company.
• Lead company agricultural sales team across the entire territory. Responsible for sales and profitability of Machine sales department.
• Lead the strategic direction for the Company regarding the Agricultural Equipment business. Identify and study new Ag products, opportunities, and ventures for fit and feasibility within our business model that facilitate growth for our Ag business.
• Establish efficient, consistent processes across the company leveraging “best practices”.
• Develop and manage company merchandising/marketing programs. Develop Ag marketing programs to build brand awareness and connection with existing and new customers
• Manage Ag machine inventory and rental fleet levels ensuring appropriate units and dollars of equipment are available for sale and rent
• Achieve agriculture sales and marketing, and product support operational excellence by leveraging company resources and external business partners.
• Create strategic sales and marketing direction to ensure long term profitable growth through attracting new customers and increasing spend of existing customers
• Support the company Region Teams in their effort to train and develop a team of Ag experts to help our customers succeed and view Quinn Company as a preferred Ag products and solutions provider.
• Demonstrate leadership skills to motivate, develop, and retain a high performing work group.
• Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure strategic and tactical alignment.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, and values.
• Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships, relationships with major customers, and relationships with major suppliers/vendors to achieve desired financial and market share objectives.
• Maximize business results in area of responsibility by leveraging company resources and external business partners.
• Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure strategic and tactical alignment.
• Travel and make regular visits to customer locations and Quinn branches.
• Lead company sales and product support training and development efforts for the agricultural business.
• Communicate and teach the “value added” concept to operations employees in agricultural industry.
• Understand key competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Develop and manage agricultural sales commission programs for the company.
• Identify opportunities for company performance improvements and lead effort to improve.
• Reinforce and teach company strategic plan and company values.
• Identify and mentor high potential employees.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Senior level management experience and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Agricultural Equipment industry.
