Field Service Technician – Anaheim, CA

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is hiring a Field Service Technician to provide service instrument support in the following product areas: HPLC, GC, LCMS, Spectro, and GCMS.
The individual in this position is responsible for a wide variety of service related support functions including, but not limited to, the repair, maintenance, and performance of IQ/OQ/PT of assigned products. The products are to include SSI owned demo equipment, instruments returned from customers and customer owned products.
This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of assigned products.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience
An Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with one year of field or in-house exposure with related instrument repair (or equivalent) is required.
Incumbent must be proficient at effectively and efficiently troubleshooting and repairing instrument problems, performing installations, and providing, when necessary, customer and staff training.
