Sebastian is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Chief Financial Officer.  As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the organization. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for the planning, implementing, managing, and controlling of all financial related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, budgeting, and financing. A successful candidate is a skillful problem solver who is well-organized and analytical. Must be confident in his or her work to make strategic decisions, while maintaining a collaborative approach. This position may be based in Fresno or Sacramento.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting/ Finance, MBA or CPA.
  • 10+ years of general accounting experience with 5+ years in the construction or financial industry.
  • Must have work experience and education in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization with staff at remote locations.
  • Strong problem solving skills including the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
