Produces machined parts by means of programming, setting up and operating the CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Carefully studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Planning the stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock and notifying your Supervisor of this.
Loading and unloading of materials.
Verifying the settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces.
Adhering to safety procedures and regulations by maintaining safe operations.
Continuity to be maintained among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment to accomplish organizational goals.
