We have a current opening for a BIM Modeler-Electrical Detailer, in Sacramento, CA.


Position Description:
The successful team member will represent a skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) software modeling expert with a solid understanding and working knowledge of associated programs such as REVIT® and AutoCAD. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Using computer aided software; including, but not limited to, REVIT® and AutoCAD, render 3D modelings of electrical system components; such as switchgear, electrical equipment, conduit, and lighting with the understanding of how these systems will be installed in the field. 
  • Prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings, according to specs, sketches, and rough drafts
  • Operate computer software as necessary to effectively create charts, forms, and records as required for specific project needs
  • Obtain and assemble data to compile measurements and complete designs
  • Reproduce drawings on copy machine(s) for reproduction to paper or to digital data


  • Minimum 3 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of REVIT® and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience of performing and/or observing electrical construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
