NORESCO has an immediate need for an Associate Design Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA.

Design Engineers at NORESCO work with our internal teams to ensure that final engineering designs will achieve the energy savings guarantees and functional performance specified by our customers. This is an opportunity to see your design work become part of a successful energy efficiency project.

 

Here is a look at the responsibilities for this position:

 

  • From our detailed energy audits, you will coordinate with our Energy Engineers, Construction Project Managers, Project Developer and our customers to design energy efficient and conservation solutions.
  • The focus for this position is on the design of mechanical systems. However, you will also be exposed to electrical and plumbing systems.
  • You will work with our internal departments and our subcontractors to ensure all requirements have been incorporated into the design packages.
  • You will have total project responsibility and will work with external companies in support of outsourced engineering design projects.
  • Travel to project sites.

This is our preferred background for this position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 years experience in mechanical design.
  • Ability to travel within the continental U.S.
