WorkHands builds products that make apprenticeship simpler. Apprenticeships should rival college in the United States, but they don’t, nor will they ever, unless the system is simpler. lt’s our mission to make that possible!

This includes a tracking application used by over 600+ apprenticeship programs, the open-source apprenticeship standards at ApprenticeshipStandards.org, best practices content and newsletters, and the Community to make it easier to promote and find apprenticeships nationwide.

Black Girl Beauty School of Careers is a culturally driven technical educational institute that offers three different learning pathways in health & beauty, performing arts, audio, construction and administrative services. We offer traditional programs, 100% online programs, youth training, continuing education and exam preparation. We’ve developed high-quality Registered Apprenticeship Programs where candidates can learn & earn at the same time.

Cosmetology is our signature program that’s being offered across the country. While we teach all nationalities, we specialize in Black Hair Care. All of our apprenticeship occupations are designed to produce financial stability and remove the financial barriers that may come with attending traditional school. Achieving a career through the Black Girl Beauty “RISE UP” Apprenticeship Program is a pathway that gives women, minorities and persons with disabilities an array of hope and opportunities to one day open their own businesses and create generational wealth for themselves and their families.

The model of Black Girl Beauty “RISE UP” apprenticeship program is being introduced to employers across the country. It helps to build a pipeline of skilled workers that will create unique multicultural opportunities for both apprentices and employers that will be gleaming with diversity and creativity and will contribute to the American economy. These partnerships are connected with The Black Girl Beauty & Business Association that creates relationships with industry leaders around the world, built for long term success for our partners and alums long after graduating from our programs.

Our Campus Headquarters is located in the state of Georgia. We have registered apprenticeship programs in the state of Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Pennsylvania. The Black Girl Beauty “RISE UP” Apprenticeship Program is Life Changing!
